May 2009 be full of reason for hope.
New Years is a strange holiday. The year, as a cycle, really has no beginning or end right? I mean we continue following our orbit around the sun just as in every other point in the year. The annual break is really pretty arbirtary. It is good to have a day set aside to reflect on annual planning and the like. Maybe if I did more annual goal oriented things I would be more interested in the event.
But for me January is really an extension of the season, so we don't have to get right back to it all.
It's like having Monday off after a really good Sunday. So hooray for having another long weekend!

Um, remember the FHE talent show where you convinced me that we should make our group act out the motions of the planets and the sun and the moons for our talent. Yeah, remember how the room was so dead silent that we could hear crickets, and then remember how Mark Wardle and that other blond kid then got up and did juggling.....and everyone focused again.
yeah, that was swell.
The blogging world always needs pensive authors, my friend.
