I have tried to update this site twice from a pocket pc now and it is not working. I'll stick to the old fashioned way.
Times are tough. A friend of mine has just recently had to change positions within the company we work for becuase (I presume) his previous client's economic situation. I work in a fairly stable industry and it is happening here too. I suppose the minute you feel immune to the affects of a worldwide economic downturn, that is the minute the world has a lesson to teach you.
Yesterday I had a visit from a contractor who was "touching base." A few minutes into the meeting, I understood it was a thinly veiled begging for work session. I have not heard that approach from this certain vendor before. That got me thinking how glad I am to have a reasonably stable position. Work is a blessing.
This has been too much a journal entry and not what I think of as a blog entry. Sorry for boring you.

Don't worry about what people want to read. Just write what you want. I am enjoying it. Isn't that the only opinion that matters? ;)
